I have tried everything but actually replacing the Transfer belt. This unit has only 2000 copies off it and my client moved it from one office to another. After the move I am getting a SC 471 error. I have blown out the sensors, cleaned the roller, taken the transfer out and reinstalled it, but I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out why this thing will not work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried swapping the sensors around? Is the transfer belt moving up when the it self checks? If the customer moved it, sounds like they broke it. Hopefully you have a "you break it, you bought it" policy with moving machines.the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed. -
Sometimes the ITB lifting plate gets stuck in the up position after the half turn gear has rotated to the downwards position.
The plate is only a simple mechanism that uses the force of gravity to move downwards see.
Manually rotate the gear at the back of ITB unit that highers and lowers the CMY plate and clean the lifting arms.
(A tiny amount of light grease does not hurt to help prevent friction).
Failing that test the positioning sensors in input mode and that the small DC motor that turns the worm gear is working via output mode.- Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.

Go with what Cipher said. However, I did have a unit new in box fail the same way. Ends up that the plastic frame that everything mounts to was slightly malformed, almost as though it had been melted due to close contact with heat. Obvious manufacturer flaw, maybe the customer moving the machine aggravated a similar issue.VectorLinux---Check it out!Comment
