Why waste money on a complete fusing unit when the actual problem is an open thermostat caused by a bad thermistor. Use your meter and check the thermostat. If it is open order a new one along with the thermistor.

I replaced many thermistors on Ricoh MPC2500, 3000 and rebuild many Ricoh mpc2500 fusing units. 90% Its not the thermistor that gives you sc565 code on them.
