SC220 is a Laser Synchronization Detection Error either a polygon motor fault or a board control it try to reset before that

In Copier service mode, press the yellow button, then 107 then the red Clear button and keep pressed until the screen changes, please take note that you need to do this quickly or else otherwise it wont work , hope you will successfully go in SP MODE but be careful what you change because you will mess up the

Try to reset an error boss before doing that sometimes it helps

Per Goose's Guide, check laser connection, replace Laser unit, Replace BCU board.
