[Misc] Ricoh MPC4500 address book problelm!

When I go to Authentication info page in the address book it is blank!! System settings - admin tools - address book management - user - Auth. Info - and no user code to put in and no SMTP authentication to be found. Things I have done so far!

    1- upgraded firmware
    2- HDD formatted
3- reset to factory default copy and system

You need to turn User Authentication on in System Settings - Administration Tools - User Authentication. Indicate which functions will require user login. Individuals do not authenticate to the SMTP server.

What is the latest code in SC history? Why not try to replace the HDD. Sometimes it happens that even you reformatted the HDD, you cannot add names to address book. Simply because the HDD has many bad sectors.

Don't you have to be logged in as Admin?

Yes, if admin authentication is turned on, then you have to be logged in as admin to see, or change, these settings
