    [Misc] Ricoh 2550 dirty copies and switching to 1027 PCU

    Hello All;

    Have a Ricoh 2550B with dirty copies. Optics are all clean so I assume it needs new drum and developer. Here's the question. Can I switch to the 1027 pcu without changing the transfer roller assembly?

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

    Yyyyyyes...?

    The transfer roller has a yield of 120k; it's meant to be changed along with the fuser rebuild.

      Just remember that you'll need to manually do the developer initialisation even with the PCU.

        Hi there!
        RICOH (Germany) sais NO! But there is really no problem, you can use the #1027 PCU as it is, only doing the sp 2-801. We make this with all our late "RUSSIAN", and had no trouble.
        Greetings...

          Hi !

          You can use Ricoh 1027 PCU for Ricoh 2550B without any problem, just need to do the Developer Initialize.

          Oh.... one more thing, the PCU 1027 life spend is 60K... but you can try to use up to 120k ~ 140k by changing the Drum & C/Blade Only. (The Developer can use more then 120k)
