ricoh spc411dn faded red on one side

i have a faded side on the magenta, or when it prints red right side is faded compared to the left side which is perfect
there is a new drum unit, i cleaned the erase lamps, but im not able to clean any laser lens glass under the drum unit, is there access to under the drum units to clean the laser lens possibly if this is the problem?
I mostly do copiers, and there is a laser lens that can cause this effect.
Any other suggestions would be helpful
after i cleaned the erase lamps on the drum and shook the drum unit the color came back ever so slightly but not fully.

If you pull the drum units out you can clean the laser glass underneath them with a cloth. Kind of a tight space but doable.

Get a decent power can of airduster or a compressed air line, take the PCU's and transfer unit out and hose the death out of the insides. Failing that just pull the laser out of it, it's not a big job.

Not really. It sounds like you're gonna have to remove the laser unit, and it kind of sucks.

yeah removing the laser unit doesnt sound like an exciting thing
but i think its the only thing that has not been done to this thing
