    ricoh mpc4500 - White copying

    Hi!
I have a ricoh MPC4500. When I want to copy or print a counter. not show the image on the sheet goes completely white. Transfer has been checked, the OPC modules, engines.

Everything works perfect. Any suggestions about this problem?

    Thanks for your help!

Have you checked the laser shutter? It might be stuck closed. Some techs like to remove it.

Just in case, do a memory clear on Printer Application. (You will need to redo the ACC for printer afterwards.)
Go to Printer SP and print out a colour test pattern. If it is blank then you have a laser or TX problem, if only black is missing then you could have a shutter or PCU problem.

Still in laser section: does the shutter motor works? check 2914-007 if it is set to NO.

Please have you considered replacing the BICU board? Anyways I'm also facing same situation here. Blank copy everything about the machine is ok but still I'm facing the blank copy issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

                  +1

This is the only logical way to start troubleshooting. For all you know, it tore the ITB belt right off the frame (have seen this before) and the machine will sit pretty and say nothing.
