Seems the equivalents have an "S" in front, made by Toshiba

Better way, if you do not have electronics knowledge. Give it to TV repair shop to check the thyristor and get the advice

I got the power supply fixed. It printed one copy and now its showing front door open error. I have tried everything I could but that error does not go away. Any useful suggestions? thanks

One of the fuses on the power supply. Check the service manual and Goose's Guide.

I think you will find the safety switch wiring does go through the ac power supply. You can also unplug the connections at the board and check the entire circuit from there.
(sounds like you still have a problem at the ac board)
