I have a Ricoh MP5500; is there any way to disable the copy function from this printer. In my office we only use the printer and scanner function. Can disable the copy function be possible?
How to disabel the copy function?

I agree with faxman, just put in user codes for the copying. That would be, from a user standpoint, the easiest thing to do. Then, you have control over who can make copies (if they ever need to) and can keep an eye on copy volume.
If it is done from service mode, there will be no way to use the copying feature. At least with the codes, it will restrict all but those with rights.Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Comptia A+, Comptia Network+Comment
