Any solutions ?
Thank you !
There's lots of posts from others with the same request, that are generally not very well received by the consortium (to borrow Tonerbomb's term )
There is NO valid reason to do this, other than to commit fraud by misrepresenting the usage of a machine, and misleading a customer.
I can't wait to hear your reason......

Buy a new NVRAM.
But it's illegal. Would you buy a 10 year old car with 000000 on the odometer?

Is illegal ? I see..
For my side, i don't have problem with my customer because as long the machine did not broke down the customer know is a old machine.
The meter is easy to calculate the pages of number every month.
Re: Any solution to Reset NV Ram Meter Reading to "0"
Either buy a new machine or a new NVRAM. There is no secret setting or modification that can be done and there is no secret factory mode that can be used.
Re: Any solution to Reset NV Ram Meter Reading to "0"
It doesn't matter that the machine is old, or that the customer is aware of it: deliberately altering the metre like that is no different than modifying an odometre in a car to show 0 miles, which is illegal almost everywhere. At least in the US, altering the counter on a copier is also considered an unethical practise, and should be just about anywhere else as well.

Like we've mentioned before, you can compare the total counter with the odometer of a car. The MP C3300 is not a new machine. You should inform the customer of the total counter of the machine. You just can't sell this kind of machine with 000000 on the total counter. And if the customer has done some research, you're in big trouble (at least in my country).

In most places that I am aware of also. It is called fraud.

It is still not legal to do. If you do it at the request of the customer, when the customer wants to trade the machine in, both you and the customer are committing fraud against who ever then purchases. If the customer wants to reset counters at fixed intervals, they can use User Codes.
