Actually for MPC3300 only this case, is request from my customer. Because they been use for 1 year already. They want to reset every year for easy them to calculate also....

Your argument doesn't merit or carry weight on this.reset the pm counters or set up user codes and reset them. Don't need to reset the total counters the reason is for one reason to hide the true history of the machines life.

There are numerous solutions to track the meter usage on the copier. For instance, you can use SmartDeviceMonitor: Printer Management Software to monitor all print, copy, scan and fax activity for Ricoh devices. Or simply use "user codes authentication" feature that is already come with all the Ricoh copier for tracking meter usage. Why do you bother to reset the meter reading?

Said customer can't take reading at beginning of the year and then again at the end of the year and subtract smaller number from the bigger number to get the meter count?? sounds like a lesson in mathematics is in order
