[CQ] Ricoh Aficio 2060 light copy

After replace drum, developer, developer cilinder and make a bunch of adjusts, the machine after 4.000 prints becomes lighter. If i force a toner supply, only after make 3 force toner supply, the copy becomes good. I dont know where its the problem.I switched of auto potential control, make manual adjust, etc.....After 3K or 4K prints, the copy becomes again very light.
If anyone haves the same problem, please helps me.
    Thank you
    Dinis from Portugal.

I use the same compatible toner and katun drum (B0709510) since June 2010.The machine was 3.000K and my client has already taken 2.000K prints.I never had problems like that. The developer cilinder is new, i make the PM's with 300K interval, transfer belt and rollers are new, service mode values within the listed parameters. The toner separation case is new, and toner supply works OK

The problem with after market compatible toner, developer and drums is that they are not always consistent in their quality. Stay with Genuine Ricoh for best performance. That said, have you checked the ID sensor. If it is dirty, the machine will under tone. If you are frequently getting build up of toner on the ID sensor, either the cleaning brush has become loaded with toner and is dropping it on the ID sensor or after market toner and developer are causing excessive toner scattering.

I had a similar machine back in the day that wasn't being used enough, and so the toner feed system was never activated long enough, which caused problems almost exactly like you are experiencing.
As such, it might not hurt to check the machine's actual usage levels against what the specifications say.
The machine might just be too big.

Take a look at the toner end sensor in the hopper, if this isn't working you will get pale copies.!
Ignore the sensor check in service mode, take it from me that it doesn't seem to work.
Check the voltage on the toner end sensor.
            0v
            5v
            5v

One pin drops the 5v when sensing toner on the surface of the sensor.

Antonio, check for broken mylars on the classification case unit (D131 3161) on the toner supply unit. Ninety percent of the time when the machine reached 800,000 copies or more the mylars come off and causes this issue.

Problem solved.I change drum to genuine drum. All problems gone.Katun drums actually loose quality, they dont have quality. The machine was made at the momment 200K and every OK, with a constant and good quality on black text and photos with very high quality in gradations. Katun sucks.!"!!
