Lanier LD325 Jamming

I have an LD 325 jamming in the exit tray. Paper comes up to the exit tray sensor and stops. How do you check sensors on this model? Better yet, any suggestions on what could be causing this to happen?

First thing is to get and read the service manual for it. JustManuals.com has very reasonable prices.

That's all well and good, but the manual is listed under Ricoh only. I just checked.
If my model translation table is correct (LD325 = MP2510), this manual should work quite nicely though:

That being said, pull the fusing unit out of the machine and take the top cover off. Then tell us what you see around the hot roller drive gear. I suspect that fusing unit needs to be replaced, but I can't be sure until you tell me what's there. A picture would be even better.

I am with Lanier dealer, but I keep forgetting that Paul only lists under the Ricoh models. We need to have a model cross reference available for those who are not with a Ricoh Family Group, RFG, dealer so they can know what to search for from Paul. I have a copy of Goose guide that has a second sheet that is a cross reference on my laptop at work. Maybe I can remember it Monday and extract it as a separate spreadsheet and post it. I knew there was a reason I should have brought it home for the weekend.

For those who would like to have this on their computer without having to go online, you should be able to select a product type, highlight the contents of the table, and copy/paste it into a spread sheet. I used Open Office but it should work with Excel as well.
