    pro 1356ex vs mp1350

    Hi all
    I have qustion about these machines pro 1356ex & mp 1350 what deferance beween these machines specialy machine life, duty cycle.

      the 1356ex is a newer version of the 1350. I believe frimwar maybe different, life and volume, supplies pretty much the same......

        They share the same Service Manual and Parts catalog.

          As mentioned about, they are both the same speed, the MP1350 firmware should be updated to the Pro1356ex firmware

          PM cycles are the same at 500K, PM parts are the exact same, peripherials are the same, electrical components like boards are different

          but the only physical difference is the duplex unit and exit unit. They have changed all the rollers from the MP1350 to the Pro1356ex and you will notice there are more ventilation holes in the units of the Pro1356ex to allow better air flow.

          In saying that, I have upspec'ed all my MP9000/1100/1350's and Pro906/1106/1356ex devices with Pro907/1107/1357ex duplex and exit units as they have even better rollers in them and allow for even better airflow. Makes a massive difference in those long runs and as I call it raining in the fusing exit is now non existant.

            Average Monthly Volume (Target): 300k

            Maximum Monthly Volume (Recommended): 1,000k

            Monthly Duty Cycle (Peak Volume): 1,900k

            Unit Life: Approximately 60,000k or 5 years (whichever comes first)

              You will not be happy if you try to run it at these volumes!
