Ricoh assured parts availability for the JP1230 ended in January of 2010. If the same part is not used in a new model, by now Ricoh has depleted their inventory. You could try the C238 2845 Separation Pad for the JP 3000 and JP 1235. Assured parts availability for them ended January of this year so they might still have some. Picture in the parts catalog look similar. The only other options are:
        1. Try cleaning the old pad using grit cloth or emery cloth to roughen the surface
        2. Purchase from an after market supplier such as Precision Rollers
        3. Replace the dinosaur. This is the best option as you are going to start having other parts fail that are no longer available.

          Dear slimslob,
Thanks for the reply and advice

We have JP3000 too and I checked that Friction pad which is not identical for JP1250 series. Please advice if you know any successor model of JP1250

          Thanks in advance

The C237 JP1230 was replaced by the C238 JP3000 which was replaced by the C248 JP1235 which was then replaced by the C267 DX3340. They are all currently covered in the same service manual and parts catalog. There are minor differences from one to the next.

Current Ricoh models are the DX 3343, the DD4450 and the DD6650.

You may correct but all are different with C231 ... Am I correct?
