mpc6000 blurred partially in the text

I have a MPC6000 thats blurring the text in portions of the body of the document
It moves, but it is linear, i cleaned the erase lamps, laser glass, (but i know the laser glass doesnt cause this) it may be the charge roller have a flat spot?
I have had the erase lamps cause this in older 2060, 2075's ect but what is the cause in the color machine?

Does the blur look like the text is compressed or stretched out. If it looks stretched then the issue is likely with the drum drive, if it's compressed then I would look at the itb/reg/transport area. Also, if you're feeding long paper then you may have a buildup at the fuser entrance. When the lead edge catches it, it can create a blur at the point where the paper is under the drum.

*update - does the blur show with all colors or just one?

it does looked stretched not compressed, about and 1/8 inch or less,
i was testing it with a color logo and blk text, it seemed to be just in the blk area , but i will be back there tomorrow and i will run all colors and see what color or if its all colors,
Thanks for the fuser clue, I forgot this has happened before with the buildup on the fuser entrance, ill check that too.

I would suggest you replace the black drum and charge. Its quite common to cause blurred patches on this model

I agree the blk drum and charger often will cause this type of problem
also clean all dust filters .

Yeah - it's kind of an odd symptome but I was able to fix it after either replacing charge corony only or corona + drum, too

ok well here is what i did
I took the blk drum apart (it had a charge corona not a charge roller) the others colors had charge rollers... anyway i inspected the drum, cleaned the charge corona, re assembled the drum and the machine, no good still there, so, as you all know the drums are the same for all four so i switched the yellow with the blak and whalla ! problem gone. The blk drum was OEM and the rest were replacements, so im figuring the blk drum just developed a bad spot in it.
I could not physically see and worn area though. so its the drum.
