    sg3100snw scan to gmail

need help my printer has been ok for ages scanning to gmail but its just stopped. I can do a connection test but when I scan it fails to connect to server. Im using aspmx.l.google.com as theSMTP server without authentication or encryption.

    ive tried
    SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
    Port: 465
    SMTP Authentication: Set to <On>
SMTP Authentication Email Address: <Your full Google Apps email address>
Username: <Your full Google Apps email address>
Password: <Your Google Apps password> Use SSL: On

but it wont except the amount of spaces I need to input my email address.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get the correct settings.

There is a possibility that Google has joined the crowd requiring TLS instead of SSL. Most MFPs currently do not support TLS. As long as you only want to send to other Google email accounts, either in your Google Apps domain or @gmail.com, you can use Google's port 25 SMTP server, aspmx.l.google.com. This is what I have used for older equipment that does not support SMTP over SSL.

You might be having a problem with the ISP blocking port 25. If your internet connection has been changed and you are now using a Motorola NVG 510, there is a setting in that for port 25, default is block port 25. Have you tried using smtp-relay.gmail.com. It is referenced in the link that I attached previously.

Actually, it looks like aspmx.l.google.com is offline, at least according to this:
Is It Down Right Now? Website Down or Not?
