A1045 transfer belt noisy

I already cleans and service the transfer belt assembly and replace the c blade but its still noisy.it seems to be the t c blade stick to the belt surface.
any idea to solve this problem.

In my point of view the noise you hear is coming from the bypass tray, check torque limiter or the bushings
the separation roller aways rotates even if you using the first tray.

the torque limiter is good.4 ur more info.everytime the loud sound appear,then paper jam at drum area.I can see the mark on the transfer belt comes from the t cleaning blade.it sticky.sory I cant explain it.but i am sure u understand me alright?

I've seen this before. Check and make sure the transfer belt and blade aren't compromised. If they're fine, take a little waste toner and with your finger run it along the blade surface. It lubes the blade to keep it from sticking to the belt.

If your hearing a fairly loud scrapping / buckling noise take the transfer cleaning blade off and check the metal bracket with a mylar underneath.
It's stuck on to the main unit hidden underneath the lip, it will vibrate badly if it becomes even partially unstuck.

It's good practice to coat the edge of all cleaning blades with toner, it can prevent premature surface wear.

You could try looking at the back side of the transfer unit there are two springs covered with tape one on each side that attach to the cleaning blade bracket, these springs are fixed to the transfer blade assy that supports the cleaning blade, sometimes the small plastic that holds the spring in place break due to a blade that had previously been put in without lubricant.

thanks 4 all of your help and opinions.
as usual of cause me also lubricate the cb surface.this machine after change the cb and runs about 200 cps then the sound re appear.
however i need to look on the spring of the cb holder.

I will tell you the result.

We have a problem with these machines stored after being brought back in to our inventory. The belt is still in contact with drum and if stored this way the blade embeds itself into the surface of the belt at its point of contact. Change the belt and the blade together. You may have warped the belt with the edge of the blade causing the blade to flip and bind.

Put OEM toner in it. We had dozens of these machines, and the 350/450(e) units as well that were running K**** toner, all started doing it about the same time. K**** claimed there was nothing wrong with their toner, but when we installed OEM toner, the blade chatter stopped. Seems the toner wasn't lubricating the blade sufficiently.

try changing belt and blade together(use powder) also check that bar holding cl. blade is not bent, i have seen techs jam a vaccum in the opening instead of removing screws to empty used toner. good luck

Also check the transfer belt contact clutch, I've had a few go on these models and the 350/450 that do lead to some odd faults...

Part number is A232 2379 I think, might be worth a go.

yeah its defo the above,ive taken the metal bracket off everytime with no probs.

You will need to replace the xfer belt if you can see an line in it. It will continue to catch the blade there if you don't.

Transfer unit noise

I saw this noise and the line on the middle of the transfer belt all the time. Most of time , it caughted by the after market clean blade. Make sure you are using new OEM clean blade and transfer belt. Good luck
