    LD 145 with SC402

    All,

I've got an LD 145 that keeps throwing random 402 codes. I looked at all the transfer belt connections and the voltage board for the PCU and belt, and they all test fine. The only thing I can see out of whack is that someone removed the drum and dev stay in the front. I'm hoping it's just as simple as replacing that to keep the drum in place, but defer to those out there who have seen this problem before.

Make sure that the two springs for the transfer contact are in place.

I have also seen the center metal tab has debris, usually a build up of toner baked on the end of the roller, so that the roller does not always make good contact with the metal tab inserted at the end.
