mpc7500 was in the middle of a 1600 page print job, then stops and says replace toner, the toner was over half full, so i removed the hopper vacked out the toner supply hose, checked for clumps ect, put k toner back in and it didnt recognise i put the bottle back in? then i put new one in, it tried to load and made a kinda grinding noise, then load toner again, i put the original back in, it went through the cycle, still "load toner" i removed the hopper again, check the gears, see if something was not turning, seem to be free of binding, put the toner back in and it didnt recognize the toner bottle again, i then primed by hand the dv unit just a little, still , no toner, there is toner in the hose and if i move the interface plate toner comes out but not a lot,so
i see there is a clutch and another clutch face to face so to speak, one turns the hopper inside where the sensor is, is this the possible problem?
i went to the wharehouse and snached another toner hopper assembly R/R it and it worked, toned up and the client is back in business, but i need to know what causes this on this model, on the mpc3500/4500 ect the toner pump is notorious for giving out, i carry these in stock, is there a usual culprit on these mpc7500?
