    Aficio 2851 SC 144-01

    We got this unit in the other day,had an SC 144-01 come up when we fire it up. I am able to print out SMC . Has anyone had any experience with this code. I checke the connectors from SBU through IPU to BCU no visible problems. Next step would be to find compatable machine and swap some boards. Any help out there?

      Check connections between SBU, BCU and IPU. Check that you are not getting a low voltage coming out of the PSU. If PSU output(s) are low, check AC line voltage.
      Replace IPU
      Replace BCU
      Replace SBU

          this morning I went to the next town over (50 miles) and swapped boards out. Turned out to be the IPU. Replacement from Hytec is on the way.
