Hello friends I just want to ask help, we are facing a problem with MPC4501, when printing and scanning there is no problem but when copying SC 120 will pop out. we change SIO and stabilizer boards but still the same. All firmwares are up to date. Thank you for your help in advance.

SC120 is a scanner home position sensor error.

Thank you for the replies, we already replaced the SIO, STABILIZER, SBU, HOME POSITion sensors, bicu, scanner motors but still the same. Cleaned the mirrors but no improvements. When you copy using auto color and full color it will copy once then if you copy the next original it will show 120. When you copy using black and white it will immediately show 120.

            Hi Fritzyas

Just out of curiosity did you ever solve this fault and if so what was the solution? have one doing same thing.

Try to lubricate the railings of the scanner unit...

have you try sir to test a working ITB unit? a broken ground terminal of yellow bias roller may cause some noise interference.
