    Suggestion.
    If the A3 tray is not used very often then you may have moisture in the paper.
    You could try an unopened fresh reem of paper as a test.

    Check for staples paper clips in bypass feed path.
    Check for bits of paper jambed in A3 tray feed path causing dog ears.

      If it only happens on the bypass & not the cassette, make sure you have the paper type configured correctly for the bypass, heavy 1 etc
