WIM is not on the HDD. There is Special/Custom firmware available in the US for SMD scan to Windows 8 and Server 2012. B2385605L LRC0451 Dated 2/6/13.

Whaaat^^ I just see Version 5.20.1 B2385605L and it's dated somewhat 2010. Would you share the modified FW if I send you my email?

Is USA firmware compatible with UK machines?
Example the keyboard will have a pound symbol instead of $ dollar symbol.
The date format would be different.
Should be ok provided there is no secure passwords in use.
As long as it gets the machine working, all good.

I have tried different RAM and HD. . .

I have updated the Network, Printer, NetFile and Engine firmware to the latest.

Still no luck!

My last attempt would be to update the Web Support Firmware (B2385606) and Web Uapl (B2385609) but I do not have these. . .

I am not sure but I think the Web Uapl is the Web User Appliance which is the WIM.
