The MP C2800 is too old to support both SSL and internet Fax. There are numerous threads on way to get around the SSL problem. The best way is for the customer to use an email service that does not require SSL. The alternatives are to buy a current model MFP or to set up a server running an email relay software. One other thing, if they are using Outlook 360 or a Microsoft Cloud Exchange, there is a way to set up a non secure relay server through the console interface.

I have a couple accounts that run outlook 360, can you point me in the right direction of making this work?
If they are desperate for a scan to email solution they should invest in a small exchange server or upgrade. Otherwise they can look into scan to FTP, SMB or other solution e.g. File Stream.
