You may like to type "scan to email" in the advanced search bar above.
There are many previous threads on the scan-to-email subject.

Web Based mail can be a pain to set up
u would be better using scan to folder or scan to ftp
if u search the forum you will find many threads on scan to email using web based mail

The MP C2800 is too old to support both SSL and internet Fax. There are numerous threads on way to get around the SSL problem. The best way is for the customer to use an email service that does not require SSL. The alternatives are to buy a current model MFP or to set up a server running an email relay software. One other thing, if they are using Outlook 360 or a Microsoft Cloud Exchange, there is a way to set up a non secure relay server through the console interface.

I saw them when searching for something else. I did not need them so did not save them. Do some searching.

If they are desperate for a scan to email solution they should invest in a small exchange server or upgrade. Otherwise they can look into scan to FTP, SMB or other solution e.g. File Stream.

Dammit man, I thought you had the answer tucked away somewhere readily available.
