No can do. After you install a new NVram you have to set the original SN as on the SN sticker. Ricoh has the serial number hard coded else where on the machine. Replacing the NVram, the BICU, or downloading NVram data form another machine will give you an SC 995-01 which you then must use SP 5811-004 to reenter the serial number displayed in SP 5811-002.
