MPC2800 Ricoh Drum Modifications

My company is stocking MPC2800 black drums as apparently they can be modified to fit mpc4500 & mpc3002 series for both black & colour because they are cheaper!?

I have found some info on this, but has anyone got any other info on what exactly I need to do to in order to make these drums fit each machine!?

Please check on the forum. There is a chart somewhere with all the modifications needed and what to apply when.

Thanks, so to fit an mpc2800 black drum to an mpc5502 black all I do is file the connector down? No wires to sawp?

Lagonda has a drawing to build a tool for removing the rear metal tab on the main frame of the later models.
You may like to search the forum for the tool mod.

I haven't had any luck fitting a B2232042 black drum to an 02 series as a black drum yet...that lube bar recess seems to stop the 2042 from fitting properly.
And judging from the cheat sheet you still have to use the 2250 genuine drum?
