I everyone. I have a Ricoh Mp2352 at a customer, that is printing slow even after the firmware has been updated. There is 2 other units of the same kinda that doesn't have this issue and the have been through all there network settings and there seem to be no issue on the side. I've also been the the troubleshooting method that is on the tsrc site, some of which doesn't make any sense and some which doesn't work at all. Only other thought is to maybe change the controller board which is expensive. Any ideas?

Re: Mp2352 Slow printing
Do not use the driver that Windows comes with. If you are using Windows 8, you have to stop the device scan and tell it you want to do a manual install. In Printing Preferences - Print Quality, set the Resolution as low as you can but do not set below 300. Try changing between Vector and Raster graphics. Some of the other setting in Quality can also affect printing speed.
At the MP 2352, User Tools - Printer Features- Interface Settings set the buffer to its largest option.
Network: If there is more than one network switch between the MP and the computer, it can slow down printing. The fastest speed between two devices on a large network is the speed of the slowest link. I have a couple of accounts where they have wireless links between various work areas. Speed within the work area is great. Speed between work areas as far as printing can be extremely slow. You might want to monitor network traffic to the printer with Wireshark. It can be downloaded from TSRC.Comment

Re: Mp2352 Slow printing
Ok guys i went to the customer this morning. I took out the controller board and the SATA cable to the hhd was a bit loose. I also re-seated the memory. All job started coming in immediately. When i just arrived on the location one just would take 3 to 5 mins. I told the customer to do full test until monday and get back to me with any update.Comment
