    Ricoh MP C3503SP opinions

    Hi all

I'm looking to upgrade an MP C3300 and was looking at the MP C3503SP.

Can anyone let me know how these compare.

Are they good machines or should I steer away?

    Thanks

Just make sure you have access to firmware as they have a lot minor issues that new firmware corrects ,but other than that they're not too bad

It's worth noting that the 1Ghz Intel Celeron processor used in the MPC4503/5503/6003 is noticeably faster than the 600Mhz Sierra processor used in the MPC3003/3503.

The MPC3503 is the comparable like for like replacement to the MPC3300, but the MPC4503 may feel like more of a upgrade if you know what I'm saying.

Would you be able to enable @remote? If so, you could update firmware with the @remote, it's very easy.

Other than the constant firmware updates, the machines run really well. So far they seem to run as well as the MPC3300's

              Cipher is right.

In comparison to its slightly bigger brothers, the 3003/3503 are noticeably slower. That can be a bit of an issue at a customer who has both, so they can compare them for themselves. (We had that at an insurance company. No fun.)
