    Aficio 1075 Jams

Okay, the paper slides across the transfer belt and when it does it is pulled up towards the drum which causes it to then jam as it leaves transfer going towards fuser. It can not enter fuser because it is not laying flat down on the transfer bed.

Any ideas why it is being pulled stronger towards the drum? Is there a bias adjustment or something we can do to fix this?

    Thanks

    Kelly

Sounds like maybe the HV supply in the bottom of the transfer unit is bad or not connected to the roller.

Check that and maybe try to swap the HV.

Yep sounds like the bias roller isnt making contact with the HV lead.

Change out the transfer unit power pack and see if that helps you out...

How many copies has it done?
The bias roller contacts screw into plastic that breaks up with age and can cause this. You may need to replace the complete assembly that holds the belt. B065 3850

There's nothing wrong with pasting as long as you give credit to the source. And what is wrong with linking?
