As Zeldeman says update ALL firmware (including JAVA). The last Firmware History update for this machine was March 12/2015. If the customer is not using JAVA disable it. There is lots on this forum for SC899 codes and Ricoh's.

Can I ask how does one disable Java? Is java only needed for 3rd party software like Equitrack etc?

That is fine until someone tries to print a similar web page. If the firmware has not been updated, disconnect the network cable, update the firmware, reboot the MFP, reconnect the network cable. Do not worry about deleting the print job, it will print without error when cable is reconnected. I have had to update 3 okder color MFP in the last month. The offending font characters are on more and more web pages, including pages that many customers must to be able to print from.
