    Ricoh 3800c Error SC543

    Machine stopped said change Fuser Unit, replaced fuser Unit and now I am getting the Error SC543, and machine will not boot up.

      sound like fuser lamps are overheating.You probably need a PSU or BCU i would put my multimerter on the PSU wher the lamps plugg into if theres no 240 volts its the PSU if there is its the BCU.

          could someone tell me what sc680 is? the end user could be wrong but this is what she told me. I am not at the location of the machine atm to verify code.

          manuals 4 u - this code was not on your error code list -

            SC 680 could have something to do with the toner bottles, this is a memory chip error or bad conection between bottle and holder.

              SC-543
              Heating roller fusing lamp overheat
              Toner cartridge memory chip loose connection

              Memory chip problem

              Memory chip cable wiring problem
