I can't find just that gear, but there is a developer drive unit B213 1136 that might have your gear on it. That is the only thing I can find. I hope that helps.

My educated guess is this gear is part of the development drive unit (B2131136) and that's why you can't find a part number for it. I looked through my manual also and couldn't find it.

Parts catalog for the 1035/1045 has a part number of B0041136 for the same assembly.

            Re: ricoh gear

many thanks guys. quite expensive to replace this huh! it's only the gear that is broken but i have to replace the whole development drive unit. i need to replace more than 20 of this. i asked some machine shops to have this fabricated but not cheap too and not sure if the result will be a success. any idea where i can buy just the gear (if there's any)? just trying my luck.

                  Re: ricoh gear

how about a little more discussions about copier gears being made using 3d printers. has anyone actually printed a copier gear and installed it on a machine? does it work? can it last long? i talked to a 3d printing company and they said that i have to provide them with the 3d design of the gear which is impossible for me to get unless someone shares it because scanning the actual gear and have it printed will not work. any thoughts?

The difficult part of the use of 3d printers is to get the 3d design of the part you want to print. The design a 3d part is time consuming.
The better way for these purposes is to make a mold -to copy the part-. Not design it from scratch.

you mean 3d scan it, edit and print? or how do you make a mold?

Do some research. 3D printers do not require a mold.

Not 3d scanner and printer. You take a good shaped gear, you make a mould (like this) and then you pure in the plastic material to make a new gear (simplified method here).
But, to copy a part is time consuming and it costs enough (of course much less than scanning the part).
I have the ability to supply you these gears. Please, tell me your location, are you in USA? Or send me PM or email.

thanks a lot. the machine shop that i visited said that they can make this gear using a mold but like you said, it costs enough and time consuming because of the design in the middle of the gear.

                              mold vs 3d design

                              many thanks! more power.....
