Hi everyone (newbie here).
I have a Ricoh Aficio MP C2500 which worked perfectly for printing and scanning to email when connected to my TalkTalk router. I've switched to Virgin Media and have got the printing side working but for the life of me (IP address changed), I cannot get the machine to scan to email. I have ping'd the smtp server from the copier and it is successful, but when I try to send a scan, I get "connection with the destination has failed, check the status and connection. To check the........."
Virgin Media SuperHub is cabled to TP Link TL-SF 1008D Ethernet Switch. Copier is cabled to TP Link TL-SF 1008D Ethernet Switch. TP Link TL-SF 1008D Ethernet Switch is then cabled to PC. PC is running Windows 8.1 64 bit.
I've watched numerous videos on YouTube and have carried out every step but can't see where the scan to email is failing.
Help greatly appreciated.
