    MPC4000

    Hello,

This machine has some troubles on color prints. Lot of distortion. (See atachments)
normally, SP2111-003, mode c and mode a (2x) will solve the problem. SP2194-007 says good!
    However this time not (?!)

Checked the transfer, cleaned the laser, even changed the polygoon motor.
    No results!

anyone a clue here? (PCU ?, wich one?)
hope someone can give me the right tip here, returns tomorrow

    thanks in advancd

Make sure that the belt is not damaged/worn on the edges and not rubbing on the drums as its going around. Music sensors nice and clean. run off a solid page c-y-m-k should be nice and even. If not then music sensors cant do colour registration/faulty. Check error log, possibly drum rotation sensor playing up.

If still a problem, I'b bet it's the ITB. assy. , replace that and the cleaning assy.

See Eric1968's reply to my post from over a year ago on an MP C3000. It solved my problem then, and a few more times since:
