    MPC 3002 fuser rebuild

So far I'we seen alot posts about fuser problems on theese machines around here.
Our customer is using slightly thicker paper and apparently in higher volumes on ocasions, from what I'we seen on forum 300k is impossible in this case, and I have to mount new fusing film sleave assembly with new separation pad and some firmware updates and SP tuning.
They got a dent on sleave and I changed fuser film sleave today...I'm not talking about the film assembly as it's supposed to be done,I'm talking about the cheepest solution possible...changing film sleave with some chineese-God-only-know-what sleave.
I'm supprised it worked actualy, honestly I don't expect them to print much that way,yet I'm wondering if anyone tryed to rebuild fuser this way and did they use some lubricant inside, how meny pages can be expected this way,if any?
Don't get me wrong I'd be happy just to rebuild it as it shuld be rebuild but even that way there are no guarantees we can give.
Meybe there is a cheaper way to rebuild with parts from SPC machines of this generation with pins swaping, but even then I'm not shure how long will it work.
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

Shineese-God-only-know-what fusing sleave did about 80k pages so far and it's looking quite good if anyone is interested at all, seems like it's doable with cheap part and wery little amount of berierta grease.

        what was the comparitive cost?

probably wouldn't use em but some of the smaller machines they may be good for

Fusing sleeves are specific to a model line. They are a time saver when it comes time to rebuilding a fusing unit, fewer parts to replace.
