    [Error Code] Ricoh MP-C2500 SC-681

    Been working on this mp-c2500 that wont show that there is a toner cartridge in it and wont add toner even if I do a force toner. Then I get this sc-681 code RFID problem. So I replaced the RFID board with a known good one and it wont go away. I have tried 3 different toners still same problem. I have replaced toner pump and dv unit twice also the toner sensor and nozzle unit. I had to change machine out so customer is up and running but need to still fix this problem if for no other reason then its killing me not to know. Please help if you have had this problem .       Turn off RFID in service mode, then force feed.
      It will eliminate the RFID as a problem.
      Also, only use OEM toner on color boxes, or you are just creating weird problems.
      Why do they call it common sense?

      If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

              From Goose's Guide:
              SC 681 RFID Comm error - replace RFID board # B2385050
              SC 681 RFID Comm error - replace toner cartridge for effected color
              SC 681 RFID Comm error - 01= black, 02=Magenta, 03=Cyan, 04=Yellow
              SC 681 RFID Comm error - replace BICU to IOB harness # B2385304
              SC 681 RFID Comm error - replace IOB to RFID harness # B2385308
              SC 681 RFID Comm error - check/reseat CN 232 on IOB
              SC 681 RFIC Comm Error - replace Controller and BICU as a set
              Since you have tried the RFID board, try the cables next.

                          Don't know, maybe he was referring to disabling toner end detection, SP 3045.
