    Just a thought,

A fault I had a while ago was the incorrect toner bottle, if you looked at the base of the bottle the "propellor" shaped indentations were not sufficient to turn the bottle.
It was a Ricoh bottle but faulty manufacture.

On these "vintage" machines, when you are dealing with a CQ issue, it's best just to do an engine clear. Then install NEW drum, blade, charge roller, and (OEM) developer. Have front door open, turn on, go into SP. First , do an ID sensor initial, then do a 2801 TD initial. Sometimes you can cover all the bases by doing a "developer initialization", but usually just the ID and TD initial will suffice. I NEVER in the 15 years I worked on this generation of machine, had to replace the ID sensor.

        Good luck
