    Ricoh Pro C900S - Error SC 900

    Hello,
    We have issues with this printer Ricoh Pro c900S, in copy mode works totally fine, but when start sending jobs via fiery a alert is coming out "Funtional Problem Detected" sometimes is jut with that message, some other times comes with the code SC 900, since our company is located in the Caribbean, Ricoh technician are not easy to find, we have talked with a few but none seem to come out with a solution for the problem

    Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    If it only happens when printing from the Fiery, it's probably either a problem with the Fiery or with the connection to the Fiery. Turn off both the copier and the Fiery (Fiery first) then boot them both back up. Make sure the Fiery shows "00" on its screen. Print a config page from both the machine and Fiery and make sure they both have good network connections.

      From the service manual: sc 900

      electric counter error

      Abnormal data in the counters

      Defective NVRAM

      Defective Controller

      check connection between NVram and controller

      Replace NVRAM

      Replace Controller

      UGLY BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I would reload the Fiery System before I did anything else..............
