Hi guys,

i have an issue with a customer's device printing and copying a couple of shades darker, ran internal demo page and that was darker, anyone come accross this issue and what was the fix.

We might update the firmware, not sure if that might fix it.

I had the same issue on an MX4 - I re-flashed a firmware 1 version earlier (all i had on me at the time) and it fixed it.

But I have the same issue on an MX7 and have tried re-flashing f.w as well as re-format and recover hdd. No luck. Have escalated to SAMSUNG but no response as yet.

If you print the set standard tone page is that page also darker? or does that have the normal color?
We did have this issue on an X7600 gx and did fix it with the power supply that is located top left in the rear of the device.

Sorry for the long delay in responding

Mine was caused because one of our techs had replaced the K drum, but the other 3 drums were well past their life. This caused some weird issue in the machine when doing its cal. Replaced the 3 x colour drums and all was good again.
