Samsung M2880FW USB not printing unless unplugged from power

Samsung M2880FW connected by USB to HP Windows 10 computer will not print unless you unplug the power to the printer and plug it back in.

That can be only something with software. Are you sure that printer do not sleep and driver cannot wake him up?

First, put everything on factory setinings, so reset printer. Install cristical update from may this year

Thanks, I did install the critical update from 5/21.
I also changed the sleep timer on the printer itself and tested while it was in ready mode but still would not print.
Are there additional settings on the computer for that?

Maybe try different or universal drivers if any available.

Thanks I did try universal PCL6 driver and a driver from the older SCX42xx series and both would only print after unplug and plug back power cord.

Use the Samsung universal Printer Driver Windows PS.

could it also be a false contact on the usb port, if you try with wifi? I don't remember if there is even a lan port ...
