Samsung X7600GX scanning ???

My IT guy does mostly Konica Minolta for me but have this MultiXpress X7600 that he can't get scanning to work. Got it printing and web interface page comes up. But it fails every time when you try to scan.

Any ideas I can send to him would be greatly appreciated. Scan to email preferred by customer but SMB would work if necessary.

Not sure if this will help but wanted to add my IT guy said he setup like any other scan to email copier he has done but scan fails. Also can't access address book.

When you run the smtp test from interface it connects.

At first the web interface page was turned off and could not get it to print but that was corrected so maybe the machine was initialized or reset and a scan setting is turned off?
