    Samsung SCX-4720F not making sense!!

    So,
Here I sit with this Samsung SCX-4720F. It's one of these great all in one creatures. Scans great with the pc, when used as a printer, it works great as well. BUT when you try to make copies, they are washed out to the point of being hard to read. Can anyone share some logic on this?

    Thanks.

Well from what you've stated, you've ruled out a scanning issue, and you've ruled out a printing issue. So that's everything. Nothing is wrong.

But seriously, the PBA main controller is the only part that could affect copying, but not affect printing or scanning.

The last time I ordered a PBA main controller from Samsung, the default language came set to Portuguese. I spent a good hour in the menus resetting that to English. By the way, "idioma" is the Portuguese word for "language". I'll remember that for a long time.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
