Easy Question - Samsung proXpress C4062FX

My company that exclusively uses Ricoh acquired a smaller company that has two low mileage C4062FX's. Both are fully loaded so we want to use them. However, they both have had the admin login changed from the default. So I can't get into the settings. I looked online and was not able to find a reset hack for this touch screen only model. I did find the drive image over on HP.com for the C40xx series which I downloaded.

Unless someone knows the reset method, could someone please tell me the best way to get to the hard drive? It is not under the easy to access side panel where you can add extra RAM. I'd rather not take the whole thing apart trying to locate. :-)

I'd gladly Venmo anyone enough money for a cold beer if they have the magic reset combo saving me the hassle of messing with the hard drive.

    Thanks!

Guess what! I figured it out. Even though the power button on this model is different than others, if you long press it, and it will say something like it's busy. But keep pressing while also touching the top of that busy box, in the grey area. It might take a few times but eventually I got to the service menu option. The password is 1943.

From there you can use the reset system all option to use the hidden image to restore.

    Hope this helps someone else.

      Congratulations! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
