does it make a loud whistleing noise. If so the polygon motor may be going out. u may get 1 maybe 2 months. does the image looked warped are streched. could be dust in the laser bounceing around. The machine will usualy throw the code whenever there is something inside sometimes it just prints freaky looking images. so it will work untill dust is in the wrong spot to many times are there is something malfuncition inside of it and it will throw the code. only solution is to replace. you may have tommorrow are next month.
well you cant really take the lsu apart you can only replace it. i havent worked on that model but all lsu's work about the same. Maybe theres something i dont know but i thought you couldnt take it apart.
the dust im talking about is microscopic. opening it will make it worse. i think its vacuum sealed.???
I've cleaned a few laser units successfully. Never Samsung, but HP, Canon, Sharp, yes.
But I've learned a few things the hard way. Never touch the polygon mirror surfaces with anything. Even a shammy scratches it to sh*t. Totally ruined.
Use a blower brush to blow out most of the dust. Use a lint free cloth on lenses, mirrors, & slit glass.
