    samsung scx 5635 fn

    customer called that her machine will print from her computer, but will copy. anyone seen this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated. rb

    I don't see a problem - she can print from the computer and she can copy.

      sorry, too early in the morning. the machine will not copy. customer says they had a a power outage.

        If it is printing from the PC, we know the engine is okay. Are they not able to copy because the keyboard/display is not working? Without looking at the wiring diagrams, you may have a blown fuse for the display or keyboard.

          Just to cut to the conclusion: 60% of the machines electronics are on the PBA main controller. I've changed a couple of these controllers for very strange problems. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
