    [Error Code] Samsung clx 3175FW

I have just replaced the imaging unit (I've done it before without problem) but the machine doesn't recognise it, or has failed to reset the counter, it is still displaying the 'replace imaging unit' error message. I can't find my way to the counter reset. Read the excellent post from blackcat4866 but fear the FW version must have a different menu tree. Can anyone help with idiot instructions?
For extra info, all parts are OEM except for one black toner cartridge which was working OK prior to replacing the drum. Initially ther ewas also an eror message, 'replace waste toner' but after a good clean up that went away.

We are having the same problem with a CLP-315. I believe they are the same engine as the CLX-3175. We have changed the imaging unit, transfer belt and waste toner container. There is no way to reset the counter on this because there is no LCD screen. If there is a way to reset the count by using the keys then I am not aware of it. Anyone have a fix for us?

This will help with the 3175, but not the 315:

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
