    Samsung SCX 5835 does not boot

    Hello everybody,

    i have a samsung scx 5835 which does not run. When i turn on the main switch the mashine starts to boot and the display shows for a short moment " SAMSUNG". After this the display turns into black and i can hear a fan still working. Thats it.

    Is there anybody who had the same problem

    Thank you for your help.

          disconnect the hard drive and see if it boots.

              I can confirm that it won't boot without the hard drive or memory DIMM ... and that the hard drive is probably the problem.

              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
