    Samsung SCX-6345 Scanning

Need a little help on how this thing scans. I have the service manual as well as the user manual but cannot find anything on how to set up scanning to PC. The machine is networked and only needs to scan to 2 PCs in that office. Is there any documentation that has the set up instructions on how to do this? Or is it that you just web into it and configure it? Do you need a password to get in it? Not familiar with Samsung.

I think I have a Word doc on this topics. Just general guidelines, but might help. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is this NetScan software u can get from samsung site. It is simple where you add the scan to destination folder and can have more than 1, but a login name and password seem mandatory. A pain I could not get rid of the password part.

If you download netscan and enter 0000 as password when setting it up than password is no longer needed. scan to SMB is the easiest for the customer and no password are necessary. the instruction can be downloaded from Samsung dealer site.

If your computer is in a domain, you must configure User Domain.
