Urgent help needed

I have a Sharp 4141 that shut down because of the cleaning web and I do not have one or do I know how to reset the FK-3 error. Can someone explain how to get the web out so I can rewind it until I get a replacement.

I doubt it has anything to do with rewinding it. I don't know sharp that well but have never seen a web that resets when you put a new one in. Always has to be reset in service mode by the tech.

You can most likely go into service mode and just reset it. But don't forget to replace it or you will be spending a lot more $$$ for fuser rollers! Proceed with caution !!!!

When the web runs out it is about the only maintenance item that will shut the machine down. You need to replace it first and then go into the sims and reset the maintenance count. to replace the web you have to take out the fuser and take it apart to get to the web. If you have not repaired one of these fusers before be sure you follow the instructions in the service manual.

Do you know how to get into sim mode and what mode resets the web. I figured out how to get the web assly out and just rewound the supply spool just enough so the flag sensor is off the sensor.

double tap home key, press firmware ver in lower right of screen, then #-*-c*, enter 24 , maint counter clear, also if you go to sim 26-38 you can set fk3 not to stop copier.

You can remove the flag for the sensor attached to the web unit and reset the web count in 24-4 to get it up until you're able to get a web. Just make sure you put the flag back when you replace it.
